چکیده

پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی و مقایسۀ خسارت‌های زیست‌محیطی تولید شکر خام در کشت و صنعت­های استان خوزستان تحت چارچوب مرسوم خطی و تحت چارچوب دیدگاه اقتصاد زیستی-چرخه‌ای اجرا شد. هدف از انتقال سامانه‌های تولیدی با اقتصاد خطی به سامانه‌های تولیدی با اقتصاد زیستی-چرخه‌ای در واقع حذف پسماند، افزایش کارایی مصرف مواد و انرژی و تولید محصولات متنوع زیستی در جهت افزایش پایداری سامانه‌های تولیدی از جمله سامانه‌های تولید غذاست. نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که تولید هر تن شکر خام تحت چارچوب اقتصاد خطی خسارت 41/167 پوینتی را به دنبال دارد که تولید و احتراق گاز طبیعی در فراوری نیشکر بیشترین مشارکت را در ایجاد این خسارت دارد. در مقابل، نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که گذر از اقتصاد خطی و رسیدن به اقتصاد زیستی-چرخه‌ای که در آن ملاس و باگاس به‌ عنوان دو پسماند مهم صنایع شکر به ترتیب به الکل و سوخت تبدیل می‌شوند کاهشی 193 درصدی در خسارت زیست‌محیطی کل به دنبال دارد. این نتیجه­گیری تأکید می‌کند که تولید شکر تحت اقتصاد زیستی-چرخه‌ای نه ‌تنها راه‌حل مناسبی برای مدیریت پسماند موجود است بلکه به شکلی چشمگیر در کاهش خسارت‌های زیست‌محیطی ناشی از تولید نیشکر و فراوری آن نقش دارد.
